There are so many ways to lose weight out there, but what has been tested to work? As we all know, it is all about healthy eating and exercise. Below are my suggestions on both eating and exercise as a combination.
This is what I learned in 2011 about eating that has changed my metabolism:
1) Soy isn’t good for you, keep away from it as much as possible.
2) The Wheat Belly Book has transformed my digestion. If I eat wheat now, I clog up (I know gross), but if I don’t, awesome digestion. It is an excellent book about how everything, including wheat is becoming genetically modified. It shows how this causes problems in our guts. If you like to read, get this book.
3) If you eat some protein with a carb at each meal, this causes blood sugar to remain stable and helps with weight loss.
Regarding exercise- I recently bought the 10 minute trainer. I figured I have 10 minutes. It was very good but I’m sore today after doing it once. This proves it is a full body workout.
I think more than time exercising, it is about how smart you exercise. Full body strength and cardio seem to do more damage to fat then walking 10 minutes a day. But, do what works for your body. Also, anything is better than nothing so get out there and make it happen in 2012, I know I am!
