Today, accused Ohio serial killer, Anthony Sowell is found guilty by a jury for the killing of 11 women in the Cleveland, Ohio area during 2007 – 2009. He had plead not guilty for reason of insanity with 85 counts against him. He was convicted on 84 of them.
Sowell was released from prison in 2005 after serving time for an attempted rape conviction.
Eleven bodies were found in and around Sowell’s home. Most of the women had been strangled. Neighbors reported that they thought the lingering smell that was coming from his house were smells caused by a nearby sausage plant.
