Law enforcement are investigating a theft at Sam Magid’s lavish Hollywood Hills home, a long time friend of the actress Lindsay Lohan, where $100,000 worth of sunglasses, utensils and watches were taken.
Lohan is being blamed for the theft and saying she was framed. She is placing blame on a man by the name of Andrew Knight. In true Lohan style, an event involving the celeb has a story that is constantly changing.
This isn’t the first time the actress has been accused of taking items not belonging to her. She plead no contest in a shoplifting case in May 2011 and is currently on probation.
The person who reported the $100,000 of items stolen from his home, then withdrew the report and is no longer cooperating with the authorities. Law enforcement is still investigating and interviewing other witnesses. They are not dropping their investigation and Lohan is officially listed as a suspect in the case, according to TMZ.
Lohan is also currently being investigated for lying to police after a car crash in which she said she was just a passenger in the car when she may actually have been the driver.
UPDATE: The DA says it will not prosecute Lindsay Lohan in the theft at the home of Sam Magid and says that there is not sufficient evidence to move the case forward and those witnesses originally involved in the case are refusing to cooperate.
